Glad someone knows their history, before spouting verbal diarhea about random sophomoric ideas that come to mind. Not sure if this has always been the case, or have humans as a generalization been de-evolving over the past 30 years?

Sprint does the same they will not match their online pricing . One exception a store mgr might over ride the price if its a new line of service and they are hungry for sales that month .

Oh come on that is crazy talk. The German\'s are one of the most responsible countries in the world. They are one of the main countries that are preventing the Euro-pact from falling apart. USA is great nation today but they once legalized slavery. Those subs were sold to Israel which is a free market society last I checked. Although their intentions were good, the British are responsible for the Palestinian/Israel conflict. They should have worked out all the details prior to granting the land to the Israelies. It is too bad the Palestinians and the Israelies can\'t work out a deal. Unfortunately there is no trust because of the years of killing each other.

Germans have no sense of morality. Look at what they did in WW2. And today they supply nuclear submarines to one of the most aggressive fascist regimes on earth, which occupies Palestinian lands, and aggressively engages in genocide and ethnic cleansing. T-mobile is just a symptom of this greater malaise.
  • T-Mobile engaged in FRAUD?
    Thu, 15 Jul 2010 14:45:29 GMT
T-mobile is engaged in fraudulent marketing, at least in the former USA, and here is why: Try signing up for a T-mobile monthly no-contract plan and you will be offered low cost phones - the Nokia goes for about $59 for example - however when you go to check-out online their crooked system says, \"SORRY we cannot process the order online, you must process this order at a T-mobile store\" Okay fair enough. But what happens when you visit the store? T-mobile says, \"Oh, sorry sir, you cannot purchase the same phone that we offer online for the online price, the store cost for the same phone is $149\" THE ABOVE IS MARKETING FRAUD. THE K\'RAUTS WHO RUN THIS PIZZZ POOR OPERATION SHOULD BE WELDED IN A CELL WITH AND THE BLOW TORCH THROWN AWAY. T MOBILE = CROOKED - CORRUPT - CRIMINAL - FRAUDULENT zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • switched to sumsung vibrant from BB. No internationl data ???
    Thu, 29 Jul 2010 16:47:44 GMT
Ok...I made the switch from my blackberry to the new samsung vibrant and really like the data plan. I was on the phone with a CSR today who told me they have no unlimited email (aka data) plan when traveling overseas. I\'m a little shocked right now. Can I say anything to t-mobile to force them to give me something. I\'m still in my 14 day contract escape zone.

  • Need a New Family Plan
    Thu, 29 Jul 2010 03:38:19 GMT
Been a T-Mobile customer for a little over 7 years now. And for some reason, we\'ve never changed our plan once. It is currently out of contract and I know I can get more for my money: -$49.99 400 minutes family plan with 3 lines -$24.95 unlimited family text messaging -$9.99 additional line -$9.99 Unlimited Web (1 line) iPhone -$5.99 T-Zones (1 line) iPhone After it\'s all said and done, it comes out to about $101 a month. Now what I\'m looking for is a family plan with more minutes (600-700 minutes should be enough) and to add an additional line (so 4 lines total on the plan). I think it\'s $5 for any additional line over 2 lines these days, correct? I also want unlimited family text messaging for as cheap as possible. Also, I would like to keep T-Zones for at least one line maybe even two lines. I\'ve also heard it can be had for $4.99 instead of $5.99. My brother is thinking of getting a Blackberry or another new smartphone from T-Mobile. What would be the cheapest data plan available for those? I\'m also on the fence about getting a T-Mobile smartphone or sticking with my unlocked iPhone with T-Zones. I also understand I have to call retentions to get a good deal. Do I just call customer service and ask for retentions or is there a special number for retentions? If anybody can help me and suggest a possible plan that I can talk to retentions about, that would be amazing! Also, if somebody can answer any of my lingering questions, that would be great too. Thanks in advance.
  • Even More Plus family plans with standalone SIM cards and smartphones
    Thu, 29 Jul 2010 00:06:52 GMT
Alright, while I\'m not able to switch to T-Mobile at the moment (still locked into a Sprint contract), I\'m curious as to how this would work... T-Mobile charges more for smartphone data on lines 3-5 of a family plan. Yet you can order standalone SIM cards with this plan. I realize you can\'t use a non-smartphone plan with a smartphone, but I don\'t even see an option on their website to specify that you will be using smartphones... just curious as to how you would do that (because I would like to switch to T-Mobile at some point in the future).
  • Network Connection Error
    Wed, 28 Jul 2010 11:26:51 GMT
I just got myself the Samsung Vibrant yesterday, and added a data plan. This morning when I went to update the weather, I got a "Network Connection Error". Similarly, none of my apps which require an internet connection have been updated. There\'s a 3G icon at the top, and the arrows on the icon light up once in awhile. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me? We tried out the data at the store yesterday and it seemed to be fine, although now I wonder if I was just on WiFi and not 3G. Is there free WiFi at the Tmobile stores? The CSR who helped me out yesterday said the data might take up to one day to activate, so maybe that\'s why? TIA.
  • Canadian Trip
    Wed, 28 Jul 2010 04:35:13 GMT
My family and I are on T-Mobile now in the US. I gather from what I have read that roaming in Canada on either GSM provider there will get very expensive, very quickly. Does anybody have any suggestion on service while in Canada for a week or less? Do both Fido and Rogers have pre-paid service available and are SIM cards readily available at local dealers throughout Canada?
  • Want to replace BB Pearl Flip, Vibrant an optoin, at what price?
    Tue, 27 Jul 2010 13:22:43 GMT
My wife\'s BB Pearl Flip has been acting strange for a year or more. After a 1.5hr help, T-Mobile was not able to fix the callerID for forwarded calls. This and other problems causes me to consider replacing the phone now. The contract on this line is up in Nov., so I understand the full discount isn\'t available until Sept. The CR suggested the Vibrant at $242, which he claimed was only ~$20 more than the full discount price. I just looked online and it is available for $165 for that line. Why the difference? My phone is not under contract. Will I be able to get the BOGO offer? It\'s tempting to get two new phones before a long road trip in 2 weeks. I\'m interested in an Android phone to make it easier to do online banking, my wife and I to keep up with our family calendars, and run some common software like password database and perhaps some exercise tracking. I\'m thinking the MT Slide might be better but it appears to be more expensive at $230. Also, with AAA discount, there is no upgrade fee, correct? If I upgrade online, can I get the BOGO and discounted upgrade fee (if applicable)? Meanwhile my wife is using a backup phone. I may still wait until Sept. and see what\'s available.
  • BoGo still going on?
    Tue, 27 Jul 2010 04:53:37 GMT
So I went with my friend to renew 2 of his lines and he was hoping to take advantage of the BoGo promotion. We went to a kiosk and we were told that there was no such thing. I was confused since I read that it was extended until September. Is it only available at Corporate locations or is it really over?
  • General T-mobile plan questions
    Sun, 25 Jul 2010 10:10:44 GMT
I\'m reading about things like upgrades, extensions, new plans, activation, etc. and its all very confusing, mainly because I\'m either very bad at google or people and websites like to throw these terms around without defining them. So I have a few questions, actually a lot of questions, I hope someone in the know can fill me in on. 1. Do they charge you to port numbers when switching carriers? How much? 2. are you forced to get a new number when selecting a new service plan after a contract expires? Can you continue using the old number, or is that only for contract extensions? 3. When upgrading a phone, you extend your contract by 2 years. Can you keep your old plan? Or do they force you to pick one from their new line-up? 4. I was thinking of getting a phone from Amazon because they are dirt cheap. I read somewhere that adding services like internet or text afterwards would supposedly break Amazon\'s contract and cost $250 and that you need to stick with the plan you signed up for EXACTLY for 181 days. Is this true? 5. Amazon only does new plans and not phone upgrades, but the difference is only about 2 months because the full upgrade eligibility for T-mobile is 22 months anyway? 6. What is the activation fee and when does it come into play? 7. Can I use an existing old phone with EM+ and not buy anything from them? I will probably have a lot of followup questions as well, so I\'ll take any help I can get and thanks for reading. I\'ll end this with a snippet from the t-mobile support articles that I found kind of patronizingly funny. Quote: You must sign a new two-year service agreement each time you upgrade. Of course, if you do not want to sign a new service agreement, you can always purchase a new phone at full price. The choice is yours!
  • Upgrade phone during two year contract?

Can I get an iPhone and upgrade my phone two months into my contract? I have a Motorola Cliq XT.
  • Cheapest Web or Data Plans Available?
    Sat, 24 Jul 2010 15:39:01 GMT
I currently have the $5.99 Tzones and use the iPhone. Been a Tmobile customer for 7 years and am currently out of contract (been a few months). I was thinking of switching over to the EM+ Family Plan Talk+Text 750 minutes for $69.99 a month. Now, I\'ve read on a couple other threads that I will lose my grandfathered $5.99 Tzones plan if I switch to an EM+ plan. Is that true? I have also seen on a couple other threads about a $5 preferred web plan which possibly works with the EM+ plan. Is this true? Now, I don\'t see anything about that $5 plan on Tmobile\'s website. How would I go about getting that if I have to switch from Tzones for the EM+ plan? And would it work just like Tzones did on an iPhone?
  • myfaves won\'t load so I need a new phone???
    Fri, 23 Jul 2010 18:37:19 GMT
Bought a Nokia nuron a month ago. First, I had issues loading myfaves. I got two my faves loaded at one point. Spoke to technical support over internet chat and they suggest I get a new SIM card since mine was 8 years old. I got a new sim card, then myfaves was constantly on the updating screen. It never updated, so i spoke to technical support again. They had me do a master phone reset. Myfaves isn\'t updating anymore, but myfaves are not there, it just give me the options to add them. Support refreshed myfaves like 3 times. I never got a message they said I should get. I told them this and they suggested I get a new refurbished phone. At that point I was done talking to them. Why would I get a new phone for a software issue, AND get a lower quality refurbished one at that. I believe the issue is that after I did a master reset my phone automatically downloaded the contacts I have backed up at my t-mobile website. Because other than that all the settings were reset to factory. So how do I get myfaves to work? I\'m going to wait a few hours to see if I ever get that refresh message. Then if that doesn\'t work I\'ll try to add myfaves again from scratch. And I\'ll try deleting the contacts from the phone. But how do I do more than one at a time? Also, the master reset got rid of all my applications I had installed. Is the apps in the memory card somewhere? I looked but I can\'t find it. But I know it has to be there because the free memory size is still the same.
  • T-Mobile: Unlimited Web for phones data plan confusion
    Fri, 23 Jul 2010 13:47:33 GMT
Hi Everyone, Please help me. I want to go for T-Mobile\'s "Even More Plus 500 talk" plan, the one without the contract. But I also want to check my gmail, and chat on google talk (text only). So I found out that there is a data plan for $10/mo called "Unlimited Web for phones". Now the problem is that I already have an UNLOCKED Blackberry Curve 8310. I don\'t want to use Blackberry features. I only want to check Gmail (may be around 20 emails a day) and do light gmail chat. Will this data plan work on Blackberry and meet my needs? Because I see they have separate plans for Blackberry and smartphones for $25.
  • Any benefit to getting a new SIM card?
    Thu, 22 Jul 2010 18:09:31 GMT
I just picked up a Nexus One on eBay and I\'m ditching my iPhone 3G. I have been using the same T-Mobile SIM card for about 7 years. Would there be any benefit to getting a new one now that I have a phone that can benefit from 3G and HSPA+? I know when 3G took off on AT&T, they had new SIM cards that said 3G on them. If it does make any difference, is this something that a T-Mobile corporate store would do for free, or what would it cost? Thanks.
  • Hit with $85 in texting fees
    Thu, 22 Jul 2010 02:58:06 GMT
So anyways I was somewhere told that under the tmobile unlimited texting that international messages were included. Wrong. Only after looking at my billing history of $85 in excess of my current plan :goodness:did I learn that it costs 20cents to send and receive international texts. Question #1.. can I do anything about this to have it reduced? Question #2.. does anyone have any better solutions to texting someone that\'s abroad? Thanks all.
