    He may not be the culmination of arrogance and stupidity, but he is very close. No this company is a criminal enterprise and he thinks of himself as a don. He is close but it is spelled DUM. He believed the PR Dept, I guess. No way this merger gets turned down. Ridiculous! He is a smarmy bu??head and is quite a good comedian. I say this because every time I see him or read his releases, I LAUGH. Take it on the road RANDY! And maybe the BOD will be your back up laugh track!

    He is one of those guys that think his job performance is based on if he increases the dividends every year. Which is great and something few company CEO\'s can brag about......... but when you have 5,900,300,000 shares outstanding with a payout of over $10 billion dollars a year and you increase it every year do the math. A few years from now he will not cut his pay or benefits when it becomes a problem to pay . You don\'t increase dividends every year only to cut them 50 % down the road we all ask .

  • Problem with returned phone

    Hi, please forgive if i posted in the wrong forum, i am really frustrated with AT&T any solution that could help fix this issue is greatly appreciated. I have a family plan with At&t for over 2 years,everyone in this family plan are using Iphone 4S. on late September we received a letter from At&T stating that we can add another person to our family plan. Excited by this news on October 7th i ordered an Iphone 4s for a family member. The person named Royal At&T representative told me the news is correct and he went ahead and added to the family. Later on November 28 we found out that the line was added as individual and not into the family plan. I called At&T to cancel the phone and explained what happened, the manager said, since it is their mistake he will cancel the phone and refund all the money even though it passed the 30 day return time. He told m, he will do it in one condition if we could send him the iphone 4s back. Since it was our upgrade time everyone ordered an Iphone 4s White for themselves. We the phones arrived it was, for some reason the phones were swiped between the family members. We i received the shipping label in my email, i affixed to the top of original packaging that the phone came with and sent it back. the phone was sent on December 15 2011 to the AT&T facility in Texas according to the tracking number it was delivered on December 30th. On January 11th i called to see if the phone has arrived and the when they are going to send the refund. I was informed that the phone is still being used and they have never received a phone from me. I was really frustrated and keep talking back and forth with AT&T, newgistic (their shipping partner) and USPS as to where the package went. Every day after January 11th i have been talking with one of their representative explaining all of the above for forty minutes to one hour. They are keep telling me the haven\'t received the phone. The went ahead and cancel the phone but with an early termination of $305 and charged $90 for the month of January and December. Today i called and talked for another 50 minutes and the rep told me that "you send the wrong phone and your are responsible for it" and "when we get a phone we ship back to manufacture" How come they ship it back Apple without a record in their system. Apparently i have to $305 for the early termination fee and i have lost a phone that is worth $645 (retail price with no contract) I have a copy of the smart label, shipping history but they are still saying the haven\'t received a phone yet. Any solutions? It has given a depression and everything i think about it i can\'t focus at my job. :doh::doh:

    I am looking into possibly switching from Sprint to AT&T. On the coverage maps, it shows moderate voice coverage, but 4G data coverage.(Not LTE area) I just don\'t quite understand this, and wonder if anyone could shed some light on how the Voice coverage isn\'t that great, but the data is strong?

    As you can see in the picture below, AT&T says they have added capacity to 1 site in my area. I have reported over 75 slow data speed incidents using the mark the spot app. Anytime data speeds are under a meg I usually send it in because I don\'t think anything under a meg is acceptable.... I couldn\'t believe it when I saw it, they actually did something and responded to my reports. I just wanted to know, when they say they\'ve "added capacity" does that mean I should be getting faster speeds? or just all around better tower performance? Do they base these choices on just what they think is right or do they monitor capacity? I mean I\'m getting SLIGHTLY more speeds, but nothing significant. I do know the towers are fiber fed, I went up to their locations a few times just driving around and noticed they had "optical cable" running to them. Average speeds were around 1 - 1.5 mbps before.... now they\'re around 2 mbps Attached Images

    I am trying to determine what ATT considers to be bandwidth allocation for the top 5%, which is of course subjective since the top 5% in Kansas may only use 500 meg. I have used plenty of bandwidth in the past, currently I am at 2.7G, my previous months have all been between 3 and 4G, with no issue, however I am being throttled at the moment.. I may as well use a 1970\'s 300 baud modem.. So in the interest of doing a little math.. ALL DC, MD and VA users around the DC Metro area, please post your prior 2 months of data usage, whether or not you are being throttled. If you are being throttled, where you able to figure out at what point in your usage that is started. This is driving me nuts. At least give us the damn "unlimited" (aka 5G) amount we signed up for originally, and then start throttling. Arbitrary values suck ***..

    I would like to find out if it\'s possible to keep unlimited data on a line if moving from a single line into a family plan. It seems it should possible since it\'s just an added feature but I\'m not familiar with AT&T. I did talk to someone that said they lost the unlimited data doing this but said the rep made an error moving them to a new data plan (they also said AT&T wouldn\'t put it back on after the mistake). I just wanted some clarification on whether it was just an error or it\'s best not to change the single to family lines like this. Thanks!

    I\'m considering switching to AT&T from USCC... The Belief Project has become less and less believable over the course of the last few months and I\'m sick of the lack of phone choices they offer... I know the coverage maps say that AT&T is decent here in Des Moines and surrounding suburbs, but I don\'t trust coverage maps honestly. Any real life experiences from any of you would be great! My only other feasible option for me is VZW but I really don\'t want to do that as it\'d cost me almost double what I pay now. Thanks for any help!!

    Back in Aug, I lost my bonus mins, (even though the nice person in retentions told me I wouldn\'t lose them). At the time, they said, "call in every month and they will add them to my rollover. This will be noted in your account." I have been FAITHFULLY calling in every month and have gotten the minutes. HOWEVER, this month, they tell me that they can\'t do that anymore. Does anyone have a new bonus minutes code that I can try adding to the account? I miss my bonuses.... The only PERK I now have is 750 texts, and I don\'t use close to that many these days.

    So here\'s the deal...I was using a $30 a month pre-paid T-Mobile monthly plan and realized I needed more minutes and some better coverage. So I bit the bullet and ported my number to At&t on my wife\'s account and we created a Family Share plan. Now, when I was in the store researching, the rep said I wouldn\'t need to sign a contract if I brought my own phone. This was two weeks ago. I went on Saturday to do the port and the rep (a different one) said the same exact thing. No contract if you bring your own phone and you can upgrade to a new phone at any time (and thus begin a new 2 year contract). So cool...I port my number over and I look online this morning and it says that my contract is up in 2 years and I\'m not eligible for an upgrade until 8/2013. I call up customer service and they tell me that any time you sign up for service w/ at&t you are automatically signed up for a 2 year contract and they can\'t do month to month on new service. So either I was lied to by the in-store reps or the CS agent on the phone. Which is correct? I\'m canceling the service without a doubt if I\'m locked into a contract. Just BS. Any ideas why they can\'t get their story straight?

    Hi all. I recently moved to Korea for work and I put my account on hold for six months. That period ends at the end of February and I will have to decide if I want to keep my line open at the lowest plan price ($39 + tax) or cancel it. I guess the answer is clear that I should just cancel, although I will be home for two months in the summer, which will include some traveling, and I am not 100% sure I will stay at my current job for another year (I am hoping to get back to the states, but I\'m not holding my breath). The point is, I would like to have a phone I can use while I am back home and in the event that I don\'t renew my contract (the latter part of this scenerio will be decided probably in May when the new contracts are drawn up). Anyway, I was told by AT&T that I can only suspend my line for 6 months in a 12 month period, and that period is ending. Are they any other options to keep the line open at least til I am home in the summer? All of my family and friends from back home have cell phone service already. :-/ Can the line be converted to a pay-as-you-go? The phone I have for that line is a Galaxy S (Captivate).

    Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with getting the billing cycle and/or bill due date changed with AT&T. The girlfriend just ported over from T-Mobile, and was used to their date structure, but I wasn\'t sure if this was a possibility for her. I know the system chooses something at random when signing up (considering I have accounts that are somewhere around the 18th, some the 21st, etc), but with seeing a lot of services (especially credit cards) that are now allowing you a little flexibility in defining a date for yourself or picking from beginning of the month, middle, or end, I was thinking this *might* be an option. I\'ve just gotten used to most of my AT&T business being settled closer to the end of the month in my case, which seems to be the consensus of most people I\'ve talked to in respect to AT&T billing dates/cycles. However, in her case her bill due date appears to be February 5th for her first month, so was trying to figure out if in the future that can be set differently. Anyone with experience or knowledge of if this is possible?

    I got a new charge on my first 2012 bill and its Handset Insurance Charge for 1.13. Talked to an rep and they told me it was an adjustment for the price change for the insurance. Please let me know if this is true.
